Now you've practiced 8 scenes. Try these for real-life mastery:
- Pick your top 3 favorite phrases from this book. Write them on a card or save them in your phone.
- Practice 1 scene per day out loud — even alone, even in the shower!
- Find a friend (or use a voice recorder) and act out a scene both ways: you as YOU, then you as STAFF.
- When you arrive in Japan, commit to using at least one phrase per day. Don't be shy — staff love hearing visitors try!
- Make your own scene: buying souvenirs, at the bookstore, at the train station ticket machine. Use the patterns you learned.
